Not sure what they are thinking

I recently read a blog from a local school that said you should never teach anyone everything you know. My first thought was "WHAT" If someone is around that long it tells me you have given up on learing yourself. I am willing to share all I know today but still feel I will know more tomorrow!!! Our gaol as teachers is to help our students reach a higher level than us, this is how the arts keep progressing.
Teachers who put themselfves on this platform better darn well be serious about their training!!!

Holiday schedule

We will be closed Dec. 24, and 26.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday.

RECENT SEMINAR

On Oct. 8 th. we held our 5 th. annual Papa Joe camp. As always this turned out to be a great time. I recevied allot of good feedback from those that attended. I think it's safe to say we all learned something, and got the chance to try out some new stuff!
This camp is so special as it's in memory of Papa Joe and the legacy he has left behind. Thanks to all those that came and shared and to Papa Paul and Papa Jules.
I hope to see an even better turn out at our next camp. It is really a powerful thing to train together as a group.

Train hard,

Sensei Karl

WOW

Recently Sensei Ray completed a 100 mile run. Below are some of the details. I am sure he would agree that all those years of training in the martial arts, helped him get through something so tough!

Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 Run (MMT):

The MMT is a challenging 100 mile trail ultra over a demanding, rocky course in the Massanutten Mountains of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. The course includes rugged mountain climbs that total over 18,000 feet.

Other info:

This was my 4th completion

My time: 31:00:18 (66th)

195 starters; 132 finishers (68%)

This is something that still rattles my mind. Congratulations to Sensei Ray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am truely impressed.
