Combat challenge

Congratulations to Dave Honzu who competed in the combat challenge in Streesboro, OH last night. Dave put forth an amazing effort, and demonstrated a high level of skill and heart. Although he did not get the win, the NAAFS listed on their FBpage it was the fight of the night.

The Academy of Sorin-ryu Karate will be represented in the Jan. 26 th. NAAFS Cage matches in Streetsboro, OH.

I would like to thank Papa Paul, Papa Jules and of course Papa Joe for whom the camp was in honor of. We shared alot of knowledge and techniques. Thanks to all the students who took the time to support the ASKA and the Academy of Shorin-ryu Karate.
We look forward to our next event which will be hosted by our Columbus martial arts friends. Also I would like to thank Chuck Carlos for taking the time to drive up from Columbus and share his expertise with us and for being so supportive.

Papa Joe Camp

Ok, The camp this year is at the Stow Silver Springs lodge on October 13. Kids will start at 10 and adults at 11.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting in some good training..

Papa Joe camp

The annual Papa Joe camp will be held in Oct. at the ellenwood center in Bedford.

Directions and the exact date will be posted soon. Should be one of the first two weekends. Hope to see everyone there.
